In a three week long hip hop battle, hosted by Power92.3 (the Urban music station for Arkansas).
Magnus aka Mr. Nice Guy arose triumphant over the 47 other mc's who entered by a landslide receiving over 90% of the votes. The grand prize package consist of tickets to the biggest urban music event in Arkansas "Juneteenth" and spot to perform on the same stage as big name artists such as Ceelo, Ying Yang Twinz, Mario, Young-Rome, and More. This doesn't sound bad for a debut performance. How many artists can say their first performance happened like this?
The event is sponsored by Alltel in Arkansas. The website is www.power92.com. The Juneteenth celebration is an annual event which always brings an allstar lineup and gives local artists the opportunity to shine.
